M.Patrick teams up with Kusini to present on Grooveland Africa, an Afro house masterpiece in ‘Rhiqi’ featuring exciting vocals by Toshi.
Rhiqi is a song about people that talk bad about the next person. Smearing slander and putting dirt against their name. It puts to question why people pull each other down when we all should be uplifting each other.
Hailing from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, M.Patrick is a UK based House DJ specialising in Afro, Deep and Soulful House. He is also a music producer, artist manager and A&R of Grooveland Africa, and a member of the Godfathers of Deep House SA movement.
Kusini is a young versatile self-taught music producer based in Johannesburg, South Africa, who brings a unique blend of Afro house like no other, a blend that he defines as Afro Progressive. Kusini is no stranger to Grooveland Africa either, having contributed to the Elefro Volume 1 Compilation.
Toshi Tikolo is a professional singer, presenter, actress, composer, poet, scriptwriter, guitarist, and song writer born in Kwalanga Township, Cape Town. She is a leading voice within the Afro House scene, thanks to a fantastic decade in which she has worked with the likes of Black Coffee, David Morales, Timmy Regisford.
